 At THE GARMENT STUDIO we are specialised in Garment Sampling, Toiling & Fitting, and Small productions.
 
All over the years, we have worked for many Fashion Week Designers, Luxury and Independent brands, Students, Bridal studios Private Clients and Haute Couture Designers.

The studio is equipped with standard industrial sewing machines, included overlocker and the knowloged to produce from the standards to luxury finishes for samples. 
 
Toiling and fitting services allows the designer and maker to see how the garment fits the body. How the fabric reacts to the specific design and pattern. A toile is basically a draft version of a garment, normally made from a calico fabric or some cheap fabrics. It's a precious step when designing a collection or during the construction process so its possible to visualise the garment before cutting it into your real fabric.

We provide assistance in developing the garment samples. We can advise for a choice of finishes using different techniques and always meeting the client budget. From a simple overlocker finishing to a fully biding, hand stitched or a combination of diferente trimmings, the options are endless. This process is very important to develop while creating a fashion collection. Making the samples in the final fabrics so we will be able to see if the small amendments are necessary to prepare the garment for production.
